Join local artist Joanne George for a fun and relaxing afternoon of creating. This class is about letting go of fear and just creating from your heart. Participants will let the paint, pens, and paper guide them through an intuitive process of image creation.  Each new mark and layer will reveal the next step in this exploration of color, shape, and texture.  Enjoy a hot cup of tea or BYOB to this event!

Artist Bio: Joanne George’s (she/her) journey began when her husband, Jeffrey, became sick. She retired from her job as a school nurse and began an exploration into art to help with the stress and worry of being a caregiver. She discovered art journaling and this led to a love of mixed media. Joanne believes that creativity has a healing and nurturing effect on the mind and the body. “We are all artists in one way or another. Finding your artistic voice can be so empowering and joyful!”
