The Artist

Emile Arsenault

Emile Arsenault (1918-1999) was a Quebec-born artist who led a diverse life, balancing dairy farming and working in the woods. In his later years, he moved to Monpelier, Vermont, to “make his fortune.” While residing at the Rowan-Court Health and Rehab Center in Barre, Vermont, Emile found solace and inspiration as a regular participant in the GRACE workshop. His drawings, created as a cherished hobby, serve as a confirmation to his artistic spirit.
