The Old Firehouse, 59 Mill Street, Hardwick VT | Navigate with Google Maps
Accessible Entrances & Features
GRACE is located in a historic building, the Old Firehouse built in 1885. Some updates have been made for accessibility, but the second floor is only reachable by a long staircase. Several parking spots are available in front of the building, and overflow parking is available across the street in the public parking area. There is one step, about 5 inches high, to get into the building, which usually has a removable ramp placed in front of it. The downstairs is all one level, including the restroom which is wheelchair accessible with handrails. The studio areas and art cleaning area are accessible.
Make an appointment to view the collection stored on the second floor of GRACE. Visitors can let us know which pieces in our upstairs collections they would like to view ahead of time using the Digital Archive, or browse on their own when they arrive.
