The Artist
Kathryn Shepard
Kathryn Shepard was born in 1908 at Bolton Landing, Vermont (Now Orleans). She was an accountant at the Central Savings Bank for many years. She married a plumber and they had three children, of which only one survived to adulthood. Kathryn was always a knitter but never made art until she joined the GRACE workshops at the Newport Health Care Center in 1981.
