Updates from Spark
You Asked, We're Answering: An Update on Spark
As we shared recently, Rural Arts Collaborative has adopted a new strategic plan that refocuses our mission around sparking creativity and curiosity in young people across our communities. As part of this transition, we're making a few changes at Spark as well.
Our Spark staff member, Lilly McMurtrie, has moved on to new opportunities, and we are grateful for all she contributed during her time with us. We miss her and wish her the very best.
As we adjust to this transition, Spark will be moving to a more self-serve model. Members can continue to access the space and equipment using their existing door codes. Visitors are welcome during the staffed hours listed below.
At this time, printing services will continue to be available, but the laser cutter and 3D printer will be unavailable. We will also be pausing print order services for the foreseeable future.
Beginning in July, staffed drop-in printing hours will be:
Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:30–4:00 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this next chapter. Spark remains a place for creativity, learning, and making, we're simply operating a little differently for now, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community.
