Cabin Fever (Indoor!) Spring Carnival
April 21, 2023
5 - 9 PM
Come have a fun Friday night at Grassroots Arts and Community Effort to support the Rural Arts Collaborative’s mission! We’ve got ring tossing games, mini bowling, pop-a-shot two-player basketball toss, corn hole, and more! This benefit is fun for all-ages, so feel free to bring the kiddos for a family night out! Munch on homemade goodies, enjoy an adult beverage, and dance if the music moves you.
You’ll learn all about what Rural Arts Collaborative is up to: prizes will showcase Spark’s creative tech, an information booth will tell all about what’s up with afterschool programs in our school district, and you can tour the new printmaking membership area and GRACE artwork archive. There’s so much going on, and this fundraiser will help support it all.
Tickets: $10 per person at the door (cash, checks, or cards accepted)
Game Coins: $1 ea. or $10 for 12 coins, $15 for 18 coins, or $20 for 25 coins
Prize Wheel Coins: $5 ea.
Drink Chips: $5 ea. for beer, wine, or cider (3 drink maximum per person, must present photo ID and be older than 21 to purchase a drink chip)
We’ve even hung a new show in the GRACE gallery to reflect the mood of fun and games after a long winter. GRACE presents Gayleen Aiken’s drawings and James Rauchman’s larger than life paintings. Tour the gallery to follow Gayleen and the Rambilli Hill Cousins on a trip around Gayleen’s former home in Barre, VT as the snow melts and the moon rises; or go for a Cuban adventure through Jamie’s canvases. This show is full of dancing, drinking, hugging, and a little mischief. Preview the show at the Cabin Fever Fundraiser, and return in May for a gallery opening to explore the work more.
Help us prepare: thank you for letting us know you’re coming!
