Intro to Digital Drawing with Samuel Rheaume

$110 Per Person

Tuition: $90 for four classes ($22.50 per class)
Materials Fee: $20 for final project large format digital print on canvas

Join local artist, graphic designer, and content creator for Jasper Hill, Samuel Rheaume for this introduction to digital drawing. Participants will learn both technical digital illustration skills as well as compositional skills relevant to draftsmanship and illustration. Samuel will take participants through the stages of conceptualization, image building through value and color contrasts, refining images through non-destructive (revisable) layering, and preparing files for print. The class will include one-on-one instruction, constructive class critiques, and reference materials. Students will have the opportunity to print their final projects as a large format canvas giclee print.

It is recommended that each participant have their own iPad, however Spark has several iPads that students can request on a first-come-first-served basis. Please email programs@ruralartsvt.org if you would like to request an iPad for this class (no fee).
