Join us at WonderArts on the lawn outside for a special reading and craft activity with local artist and teacher, Beth Meachem.
Past and Present come together in the creation of quilts which have offered a way to tell a story throughout history. Join WonderArts in Greensboro to create your own quilt collage that tells your story. We will start with a reading from Aunt Harriet's Underground Railroad in the Sky by Faith Ringgold to learn how she uses quilts she created as her illustrations. After the reading, everyone will make their own quilt collage. Finished projects will be displayed in the gallery at the Greensboro Free Library this fall.
