The GRACE Archive Collection

Welcome to the GRACE Archive

The GRACE Digital Archive Collection is intended to support Rural Arts Collaborative’s mission to cultivate a vibrant Northeast Kingdom. Through the arts, GRACE at Rural Arts Collaborative has uplifted untrained artists, helping them develop independent studio practices and create artwork that reflects their lives and imaginations. Some of this artwork has been collected over the years and is now part of the GRACE Archive Collection. The purpose of the Digital Archive is to share widely those works beyond our own gallery walls, educate the public about Untrained Artists in Vermont, and provide context with which to explore the question, “Who is an artist?” The Digital Archive Collection contains all the artwork and ephemera owned by GRACE, documents it digitally, and provides a searchable labeling system for easy filtering to locate digital records and physical pieces.
