Everyone will leave with a loom in hand that can be used for future fiber projects! This is the perfect class for beginners or those who want to reacquaint themselves with different weaving patterns.
Artist Bio: Beth Meachem (she/her) is a graduate of Marlboro College and Wesleyan University. I have been practicing and teaching weaving and ceramics for over 30 years. I started and ran a rural arts initiative in Jamaica, Vermont where I taught weaving and ceramics to all ages and ran community outreach programs for seniors. I love exploring new mediums such as mono-printing and two-dimensional works. I am inspired by the natural landscape and my works evolve organically inspired by the materials I work with.
